EEID 2023: Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Diseases

The return of EEID to Penn State, 20 years after the first meeting, is a time for reflection on how the field has developed and where we want the field to go. We are organizing this year’s meeting around 4 core themes,Transmission, Within-host Dynamics, Persistence and Heterogeneitythat were central to EEID 2003. This year’s keynote speakers will reflect on how these concepts have changed over the last 2 decades and the priority challenges for the future.
