ABOUT US

University of Florida Infectious Disease Dynamics (UFIDD)

The Infectious Disease Dynamics group at the University of Florida comprises several faculty, post-docs, graduate and undergraduate students interested in bridging better understanding of infectious disease dynamics, field work to monitor infectious diseases, and public health responses to disease outbreaks. We use theoretical and empirical approaches to study many infectious diseases, including dengue, Zika, influenza, measles, chikungunya, Japanese encephalitis, Ebola, and HIV. We are based at the University of Florida Department of Biology and Emerging Pathogens Institute.

We collaborate very closely with the Infectious Disease Dynamics group at Johns Hopkins University. Find out more about their work here

We are faculty, postdocs, students, staff and alumni.

We collaborate with various public health practitioners and researchers worldwide.
